The application window for Folds of Honor is now open for the 2018 application season through March 31, 2018.

Scholarships are used to subsidize the costs of tuition, school books, fees, on-campus room and board, approved educational tutoring, and other approved educational expenses that a student’s school may deem appropriate.

The Children’s Fund Scholarship program is for dependents of service members enrolled in grades Kindergarten – 12. Funds may be used for approved/accredited private school tuition, IRS approved educational tutoring from an approved tutoring company, approved/accredited homeschool curriculum, required books and required school uniforms.

The Higher Education Scholarship program is for students who will be entering, or are already attending a 2- or 4-year college, university, technical school, or accredited certificate program. Applicants must be 24 years old or younger and a dependent of the service member. If the applicant is the spouse of a service member, there are no age requirements/limitations but must currently be married to service member or not remarried if widowed.

Scholarships are awarded up to $5,000 for both the Children’s Fund and Higher Education scholarships. Award amount is based on the “unmet need” calculated on the Financial Need page of the application.
